Description: A long running special exhibit featuring the artwork of marionettes of famous puppeteer Robert LeRoy Smith, an Artist-in-Residence on the facility of the Music Arts Institute who taught marionette building, playwriting and performance.

Amazing African American Art
Description: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.  $10 per person.  Children's Art Workshop - Have a marvelous time sculpting, painting, creating, and exporing the world of African American Art.  Your instructor, Sarah Poff, has taught workshops in Blue Springs and the greater Kansas City area for over 25 years.  She also teaches art in the Blue Springs School District.  Mrs. Poff usually comes dressed for the occasion and encourages participants to wear appropriate clothing as some projects are fun, but messy!  Advance reservations are required.
