Adair Park Softball Complex
This lighted, seven field, girl’s softball complex has two concession stands, five shelters, 40 picnic tables and eight- station batting cages.

Waterfall Park at Bass Pro Shops
180,000 sq. ft. store with 30 foot climbing wall, and pistol and archery range. 18-acre stocked lake, 30-acre park and nature trails are owned by the City and Independence Parks and Recreation.

Crysler Baseball Stadium
Tradition-rich, tournament-ready baseball stadium features seating for 1,100, lighting, full- service concession area, 36’ x 16’ scoreboard and ample adjacent parking.

Henley Aquatics Center
This facility features a 25m by 25m indoor swimming pool, two 1m diving boards, heated whirlpool and locker rooms.

Hilton Garden Inn & Conference Center
11,000 sq. ft. of multi-functional space, with 200- room hotel in large restaurant district.

Independence Athletic Complex
165 acres, eight soccer fields (two lighted), three lighted softball fields, two lighted baseball fields, five practice football areas (one lighted).

Independence Events Center
All purpose 131,972-square-foot events center with two ice-sheets or a covered floor, with a 75,000 square foot arena bowl and 5800 fixed seats. Hosts a CHL hockey team and a MISL soccer team.

KC Sports Lodge, LLC
70,000 square foot indoor sports facility featuring indoor fields and courts. Perfect for soccer, volleyball and flag football. 5,000 capacity for special events.

Truman Memorial Building
Built in 1926, renovated auditorium/gymnasium provides 4,700 square feet of versatile space perfectly suited for all types of sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, boxing, wrestling, and table tennis.

Area Golf Courses
Independence is home to three championship golf courses including Drumm Farm, Winterstone and the recently opened Stone Canyon Golf Club by Greg Norman Golf Course Design.
