Guests at the Higher Ground Hotel, 200 N. Delaware, will enjoy an interactive murder mystery theater performance on Friday, August 13.  Presented by the hotel with Omnibus Theatre Company and a Truman impersonator, the drama is themed "Who's Killing Harry Truman?"  Guests will participate in solving the mystery.

The all-inclusive murder mystery weekend package includes the live performannce, hotel room, and fine dining.  After hotel check-in, the mystery program begins Friday during High Tea at 4 p.m., followed by a walking tour of clues in the historic Truman neighborhood at 5 p.m. and dinner theater at 7:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to dress in the style of the 1940s for the weekend, and there will be prizes for solving the mystery and for the best-dressed guest.  The event will conclude Saturday morning during breakfast when the culprit will be revealed.

Cost for the mystery program ranges from $90 to $120 per person. The event is intended for adults and children ages 10 and older. Reservatons must be made in advance by calling (816) 836-0292.
